MedLit organizes published medical literature into ranked feeds, summaries, and visual abstracts. The pilot is an evolving service, so features, coverage, ranking methods, and availability may change as the product is tested and improved.

MedLit is for educational and informational purposes. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, a clinical guideline, or a substitute for reviewing the original source and exercising independent professional judgment.

Do not rely on MedLit as the sole basis for patient care. Verify information against the cited publication and other appropriate clinical sources before acting on it.

You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your sign-in credentials, and activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.

Pilot access may be limited, suspended, or ended to protect the service, other users, or the integrity of the evaluation. You may not share access in a way that bypasses pilot limits or security controls.

Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, probe or bypass security controls, scrape it at scale without permission, impersonate another person, or use it to violate law or another person's rights.

Article titles, abstracts, citations, and linked materials belong to their respective authors, publishers, and rights holders. MedLit's summaries, rankings, and visual abstracts may contain errors or omit context even when quality checks are applied.

Links to PubMed, publishers, and other third parties are provided for reference. Those services have their own terms, privacy practices, and availability.

If you send feedback, suggestions, or corrections, you allow MedLit to use them to evaluate and improve the product without owing compensation. Please do not include confidential information or patient information in feedback.

The pilot is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, complete literature coverage, error-free summaries, or that every paper relevant to a specialty will appear.

To the extent permitted by law, MedLit disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You remain responsible for how you interpret and use information from the service.

To the extent permitted by law, MedLit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the pilot.

These terms may be updated as the pilot develops. Material changes will be identified by a revised effective date or another reasonable notice.

MedLit is not a patient-record system. Do not submit patient-identifying information through feedback, email, or any other product surface. No business associate agreement is offered for the pilot.
