Why it mattersDespite successful thrombectomy, many patients do not achieve functional independence. This trial provides high-level evidence that adjunctive antiplatelet therapy with tirofiban may improve outcomes, but the numerical increase in intracranial hemorrhage warrants careful patient selection.
