Opioid Use Disorder and Evidence-Based Care Among Medicaid-Enrolled Youths.

JAMA network open·October 1, 2026·PMID 42826019

Why it matters

Despite high OUD prevalence among youths, most Medicaid-enrolled patients do not receive timely, evidence-based care, and disparities are stark for adolescents and minoritized groups. These gaps highlight urgent needs for policy and care model changes to improve equitable access to MOUD.
