Longitudinal changes in epigenetic clocks predict survival in the InCHIANTI cohort.

Nature aging·March 1, 2026·PMID 41826710

Why it matters

For clinicians interested in biologic aging and longevity, this study suggests that trajectory of epigenetic age may be more informative than a one-time clock value. It supports these biomarkers as prognostic tools, but not yet as treatment targets or routine clinical tests.
