Why it matters

Slow wave sleep is critical for cognitive and physical restoration, and its decline with age or sleep disruption is linked to impaired recovery. A non-invasive method to enhance SWA could offer a novel tool for optimizing sleep quality and potentially mitigating age-related sleep decline in performance and longevity contexts.
