Modulating stress and sleep through a multi-compound dietary supplement: a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial.
Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition·December 30, 2026·PMID 42829807
Why it mattersStress and poor sleep are common concerns among physically active adults, and many use supplements for relief. This trial provides controlled evidence that a specific morning adaptogen combination may improve subjective stress and sleep quality, while the evening sleep supplement alone showed no significant benefit. The lack of additive effect with combined use and the unexpected decrease in positive affect in the combination group are clinically relevant for supplement counseling.
